Starting her financial advising career in the early 80’s has given her lots of experience in both bull and bear markets. From the beginning, Alison spent time identifying and researching investment processes that worked in all types of markets, which led her to the Dorsey Wright philosophy she continues to use and teach today.
Most of her prior experience was gained at Morgan Stanley (and predecessor firms). She worked on Wage and Price Controls as a finance analyst at Celanese Corporation after stints at both US and international publishing firms. Her volunteer activities focus on students, whom she believes is our investment in the future. New College is the honors college of the Florida State University system, located in Sarasota.
