About Us

Your Guides Through Financial Ups and Downs

Since the 1980s, we’ve seen it all—from soaring bulls to grueling bears. Our founder, Alison Gardener, saw countless examples of investors who experienced significant losses during market volatility.

She knew there had to be a better way to construct investment portfolios that could withstand any type of market condition.

This deep-seated wisdom solidified her dedication to the Dorsey Wright philosophy—a proven, data-driven approach she passionately employs and educates others on, even today.

At Sage Advisors, we're not just about numbers; we're about values—our five core principles that guide every interaction, every strategy, and every solution we offer.

Our guiding core values include:

1
Integrity
We communicate with clients in both good markets and bad. Our outlook on the market is reflected in our portfolio and model management. We take pride in our ability to explain why you are allocated in a particular way and have no problem explaining exactly what you own. We keep emotion completely out of our decisions.
2
Client-Centricity
Everything we do is focused around making the client experience as smooth and easy as possible when working with us. We are constantly thinking of new ways to make doing business easier.
3
Reliability
A key part of being with a smaller firm like Sage Advisors is that we are not a 1-800 number. We engage in high touch point relationships where our clients can rely on us to help them accomplish financial goals in an orderly and convenient manner. They can call us directly and receive timely responses to their questions.
4
Education
As some of our investment strategies can seem to be quite complex at first, we make an immense effort to provide our clients with as much explanation as necessary. Whether you want a summary or need a detailed explanation for each position you own, we are happy to help. We are also continually educating ourselves as advisors to keep up with changes in the economy, financial products, regulations and technology.
5
Philanthropy
Sage Advisors donates 10% of our profits at the end of every year to charity. Clients participate by submitting their charity of choice. We then randomly select a charity to donate to.
Your Investment, Your Impact:

A Relationship That Gives Back

At Sage, we believe in more than just growing your wealth; we’re committed to making a positive difference in the world. That’s why 10% of our profits go straight to charitable causes. And the best part?

You, our valued client, have a seat at the table by providing suggestions of your favorite charities. We will then select one charity at random to support each year. It’s not just about asset growth; it’s about growth with a purpose. Let’s build a legacy that extends beyond your portfolio and into the lives of others.
